Kawa Cultural Centre

Kawa Cultural Centre offers a adapted space to artists or students wishing to explore the rich artistic tradition of Rajasthan, and develop cultural exchanges between India and the others countries.

Dynamic and creative platform with Hameed Khan "Kawa", the percussionist (tablas) and artistic director of the musical ensembles Musafir, Jaipur Kawa Brass Band and Kawa Circus, the Kawa Cultural Centre proposes a structure for artistic residences, professional and personalized trainings, workshops, creations, performances, researches, exhibitions, conferences, meetings in an indoor venue of 130 square meters with a central wooden floor and/or on a outdoor stage of 11 meters of length on 6 meters of width in a peaceful and appropriate location.

Modern facilities with comfortable accommodations and catering, internet facilities are at the disposal of the artists on the site itself, like a recording studio is available in Jaipur.

In North-West of India, close to the capital of Rajasthan in a charming village, the shelter of the historic Amber fort, Kawa Cultural Centre is easily reachable from the International airport of Delhi or Jaipur and from the Delhi-Mumbai highway.
