Ronan Le Bars is a master of uillean-pipe which is an irish bagpipe. Quickly spotted, he takes part since the beginning of the 1990s in great Breton steel bands such as Héritage des Celtes (Celtic Legacy) with Dan Ar Braz. In addition, he works with some of the greatest Breton artists like Didier Squiban, Boclé brothers or Alan Stivell.

Sought-after musician, he has also been involved in various albums : Deep Forest, Johnny Hallyday, Claude Nougaro, Yann Tiersen, Stephan Eicher, Isabelle Boulay, Renaud, Gabriel Yacoub, etc.

In 2012, he contributes in Dan ar Braz's new journey Celebration, as well as being on stage with Red Cardell. At the same time, he finally this year appears on stage under his own name with four renowned musicians. In that way, he wishes to explore new horizons of Breton music and other world cultures with his favourite instrument.
