Arve Henriksen (trumpet) – Arve studied at University of Trondheim, Department of Music, and has since 1989 worked as a freelance musician. He has worked with a wide selection of musicians, like Jon Balke, Anders Jormin, Edward Vesala, Jon Christensen, Marilyn Mazur, Stian Carstensen, Trygve Seim, Marilyn Crispell, Nils Petter Molvær, Stian Carstensen, Trygve Seim, Misha Alperin, Arkady Shilkloper, Marc Ducret, Marc Ducret, Ketil Bjørnstad, Tore Brunborg, The Cikada String Quartet and Supersilent.

He has played in a very broad span of contexts, ranging from work with koto player Satsuki Odamura to rock band Motorpsycho via jazzpop singer Silje Nergaard and numerous free improvising groups. He is a founder member of free music group Supersilent and the Christian Wallumrød Ensemble and was until recently a member of Food who released their third album named Veggie (RCD2027) in 2002.

Arve is also the first beneficiary of Norwegian Jazz Launch Europe 2004-06,
a funding project to further develop the positive reputation of Norwegian jazz.
