The World Ceilidh in May is the first part of two annual World and Roots Music and Dance festivals organised by Knockengorroch Community Interest Company - the second - The Hairth, takes place in September.
Set in a stunning natural ampitheatre in the hills, the festivals bring a large number of world music acts and visitors to a remote and beautiful area of Scotland.
Both three day family-friendly camping events also feature a genuine Celtic longhouse venue, workshops, a bar, stalls, a cinema, a kids area, a dance tent and more live entertainment.
The World Ceilidh takes place 22-26 of May 2008 at Knockengorroch Farm. and The Hairth from 19-21 September 2008
