Karamelo Santo was born in Mendoza / Argentina in 1993 and ever since then developed their own unique musical style. They achieved to gather around them a fanatic crowd of fans from all over the world, ever more since they successfully toured in Europe with "Los Guachos" in 2002. This milestone marked the beginning of a long and deep relationship of the band with the "old continent", that every year challenges the most established cultural barriers and has permitted them to become one of the best-known representatives of Latin American music in Europe.
Karamelo Santo is renowned within the national and international music scene with its musical variety and its own natural style of mixing such different rhythms as Paso Doble, Bolero or Cumbia, along with Punk Rock, Ska and Murga.
At this point of their musical career, Karamelo Santo look back at 5 cd releases as well as 5 successful consecutive European tours, becoming the Argentinean band that most toured in the old continent and the one that fulfilled the longest tour (2003) for the Argentinean rock history.
Besides that they had numerous presentations in such different countries as USA, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay and in the interior of their own country.
This Summer Karamelo Santo will be back to present their new album "LA GENTE ARRIBA" which contains 13 new and powerfull Tracks full of melody and energy, but at the same time thoughtfull and tender.
