Stephan Benn, born in Bergisch Gladbach, raised in Hamburg, studies of Law in Osnabrück and Paris, lives in Cologne.
Admitted to the Bar in Cologne since 01/2000 with emphasis on Music- and Media Law, Trademark Law, Competition Law as well as emphasis on work with copyright collecting societies or neighbouring rights societies as well as with the special german system of artists social security. European Trademark and Design Attorney.
Since 1995 he has been active (in chronological order) as booker, as promoter, with a recordlabel, with a music publishing and as a artist manager.

2003 - 2005 board member at IMAPLA (Independent Music Publisher and Label Association) Brüssel.
