Kuunkuiskaajat / Moonproduction Oy

Susan Aho and Johanna Virtanen started the
Kuunkuiskaajat duo in 2008, they represented Finland in
Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo. The girls are well-known
for another band Värttinä, and have known each other
more than ten years. Today Kuunkuiskaajat perform as duo and also group of 5 musicians including vocals, accordion,
harmonium, guitar, bass, drums/percussion and trumpet. The
band’s music is strongly ethnic-flavored. It´s a mixture
of Finnish folk music, old-time dance music and gypsy
music. The new album of Kuunkuiskaajat is supposed to be published end of this year.
This is the first time Johanna and Susan have done all the lyrics and composing by themselves
for Kuunkuiskaajat and the result is amazing.
