Valby Vokalgruppe sings in the field between an ancient tribal feeling and modern avantgarde-pop. The voices create trance-like rhythmical patterns and microtonal tensions while the keyboards come in with synthesized sounds and old school hip hop beats.
The vocal group moves from chaotic improvised soundscapes to through composed pieces - always establishing a strong field of concentration between the four members.
Valby Vokalgruppe will perform at Saturday the 29th at Planeten ("The Planet") in Huset i Magstraede at 9:00 pm.
The concert will unfold in collaboration with the Copenhagen situated bands and artists: Skammens Vogn, Toke Tietze and Kristian Poulsen. The concert is part of Wundergrund Festival.
