After graduating in Electronic Engineering, Claudia Schütz lived in Zug, Switzerland working for Siemens Building Technologies AG as product development engineer.
As a Colombian she had the music bug, and-beeing away so far from home- began to make music again, her old passion back home in Colombia.
She met Latin-American musicians and other lovers of Latin-American music, with exceptional academic backgrounds. Great musicians, struggling daily to show their artistic values. This in turn lead to starting Latin Wave, a booking and production company, where she worked with local and national artists and festivals, booking tours and producing, promoting and publicizing events.
"I want to pick my music this way, promote and support these values. I want this to be a mean to spread our rich and divers Afro-Latin-American musical culture", says Claudia Schütz.
