This year Link Tv and Amnesty International USA are partnering on the creation of a video to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights this December. The video entitled "The Price of Silence" will be set in the General Assembly of the United Nations. It will focus on Human Rights from the perspective of an international array of musicians, some of whom are refugees from repressive regimes, or who have a history of activism. Roster includes: Yungchen Lhamo (Tibet) Emmanuel Jal (Sudan) Chiwoniso (Zimbabwe) K'Naan (Somalia) Angelique Kidjo (Benin) Yerba Buena (Pan-Latin) Stephen Marley (Jamaica) Julieta Venegas (Mexico) Aterciopelados (Colombia) Hugh Masekela (South Africa) and several other artists who have committed to the project but have not yet recorded as of this posting.
