Salem Tradition
One of the rare female maloya voices, with a charismatic personality and bewitching voice. Accompanied with a kayamb, her signature instrument, Christine Salem sings genuine maloya tunes in Creole, Malagasy, Comorian or Swahili: a subtle mix of Indian Ocean airs and traditional African or Reunion instruments that is sure to get you right there.

Next album : To be released in 2010, in co-production with the Cobalt label
Latest major live performances : Penang Music Festival (Malaysia - 2008), Festival du Bout du Monde (Crozon, France - 2008), Africolor (France - 2009)
