Davide Salvado is one of the leading voices of Galician song. His 2011 debut album Arnica Pura - produced by Eliseo Parra - won him wide acclaim for his personal interpretations of folk songs and dance tunes, learned on his travels around the region. His new album O Ladron de Amorodos (the strawberry thief), is inspired both by Galician traditions and the textile designs of the British artist William Morris. Davide has collaborated with artists such as Mercedes Peón and Xosé Manuel Budiño and is also known for his ability to captivate an audience just with the pure but soulful tones of his voice, accompanying himself only with his dexterous percussion playing. In his live presentations of the new album he performs in trio with accordionist Santi Cribeiro and Cristian Silva on pipes and percussion.
