Lyra is an acoustic ensemble which performs original songs touched by a flavour of diverse types of world music. With Tamar Kleinberger on the vocals joined by an ensemble including Adi Silberberg on the recorders and violin, Ryan Hardoon on classical and acoustic guitars, Tal Michles on the bass guitar and Igal Tartakovsky playing percussion the band members present songs they have written which are influenced by styles from different locations and cultures - rap mingles with blues, Irish music flirts with Chinese colours, Europe and Africa join hands, Latin America and the Middle East face each other, and so the band provides a fascinating mix which creates an overall experience of high quality, artistic but catchy songs.
