In 2008, after almost a decade bringing their mix of norteno and techno to the world's dancefloors, the mighty Mexican electronic/roots kings, Nortec Collective, split to concentrate on their individual projects. Founding members Ramón Amezcua and Pepe Mogt continued together as Bostich & Fussible, further experimenting with fusing banda, norteno and electro sounds. Their first two albums, Tijuana Sound Machine and Bulevar 2000 both received Latin Grammy nominations and the duo have toured in Europe, Australia, USA, Japan and China while building a huge following in their home country. Their live show is a celebratory melding of tradition and technology with Amezcua and Mogt controlling analogue synth-sounds and beats from their i-pads alongside a banda brass section and electric guitar. It's a massive Mexican mash-up.
