Son of important musicians of the Brazilian instrumental music, Arismar do Espírito Santo and Silvia Góes, Thiago’s childhood was rocked under the sound of important music names.
Along his carrier, he is making shows, workshops and playing together with important artists, as: Silvia Góes, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Hermeto Pascoal, Toninho Horta, Hélio Delmiro, Armandinho, Robertinho Silva, Dominguinhos, Nelson Sargento, Heraldo do Monte, Proveta, Yamandú Costa, Nenê, Filó Machado, Vinicius Dorin, Daniel Santiago, Márcio Bahia, Hamilton de Holanda, Maurício Carrilho, Bocato (trombonista), Chico Pinheiro, Eduardo Ribeiro, Proveta, Jarbas Barbosa, Daniel Alcântara, Wilson Simonal, Jane Duboc, Jair Oliveira, Wilson Simoninha, Jair Rodrigues, among others.
Thiago has participated in Brazil of the following Music Festivals: Cascavel/PR 1999 and 2000, Itajaí/SC 2001/2002/2004, Araçatuba/SP 2001 and 2002, Itajazz 2003 in Itajaí/SC, TIM Festival 2003, as well as in the “Festival 500 anos Brasil” in Milan, Italy; “Brasil Fashion Week” in Moscow; Chatters on counter-bass at SESC do Carmo, SESC Vila Mariana, Maringá, 1st Bass Day (EMT - SP), “4º Prêmio Visa Instrumental”.
In addition to his solo work, Thiago plays together with Yamandú Costa Trio, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Filó Machado, among many others, and launched the CD “Resistindo” with Silvia Góes and Alex Buck.
His first sole CD, which received his name, launched by Maritaca lable in the second semester of 2005, counts with special participations of: Chico Pinheiro, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Sílvia Góes, Zé Renato, Edú Ribeiro, Alex Buck, Daniel Alcântara, Amói Ribas, Dominguinhos, Djalma Lima, Fúba de Itaperoá, Dió de Araújo, Rogério Caetano, Raphael Ferreira, Guello, Edson Montenegro, and others. In this CD, Thiago shows his own compositions and compositions of Brazilian Music masters, like Dominguinhos, Villa Lobos, Bach and Tom Jobim, among others.
