XERO NO CANGOTE has developed from a Trio to Quintet and is touring in Europe for the 3rd year. Finding their way in the traditional, cultural music scene with rhythms from the Brazilian Northeast, Xero no Cangote entertains the audience with a lively performance of authentic Northeastern rhythms (forro, xote, xaxado, baiao, coco, marcha junina, maracatu) and encourages people to dance along with a choreographed "ciranda" (Brazilian square dance).
