5 talented musicians who played for many years together in different groups, their philosophy is to valorize the technical and the virtuosity while choosing a musical program that is traditional and authentic.

The group consists mainly of traditional Arabic instruments: Kanun, flute, violin (or rebab) and percussion accompanied by the beautiful voice of Houssem Ellafi.

The songs selected are mainly from the Tunisian heritage and wider from the Great Maghreb.

Takht El Med Quintet gave many concerts in Tunisia and elsewhere in Greece, Spain..

The Music of the group shows the richness of Arabo-Andalusian music, as well as his opening since many decades to the Western cultures.
