Carmen Souza next tours highlights

The last 4 months have been a great journey for Carmen Souza with more than 30 concerts in Europe and NA with an outstanding feedback from audiences everywhere.

The album is receiving amazing reviews from the International Press, a Nomination for the German Records critics Award, an entry at the TOP20 World Music Charts Europe, features in several major World Music and Jazz magazines and airplay in several radios around the World.

Worldwide Audiences and Press are recognizing Carmen Souza unique voice and blend of World/Jazz and she's having the opportunity to express what is more important to her, the message behind the music.

In July, Carmen will have the Closing honours of the Darling stage at the North Sea Jazz Festival (www.northseajazz.com), one of the biggest Jazz Festivals in the World, playing after artist like Richard Galliano, Biréli Lagrène and Rickie Lee Jones.

In August she will finally celebrate the release of her album Protegid in Portugal with a special concert at Museu do Oriente that will be recorded by the nacional TV channel RTP. This concert was postponed in April due to the Vulcano crisis in Europe.

In September comes the London African Music Festival, a critically acclaimed festival considered one of the major annual
music events in London, were Carmen Souza will play at the Bloomsbury Theatre.

November comes with a German tour and an opening concert, recorded for a national tv and radio station, for Mariza at the Leverkusener Jazz Festival, again one of the most important Jazz Festivals in Germany and the return to Paris in December followed by a debut concert in Luxemburg.
