What is KELIBÉN? (Languaje of the Iberian Romani: demonstration, exhibition)
When passion, knowledge and experience come together, the result is always unique. That's exactly what happens when Isaias Salazar dances and Miguel Flores accompany him on guitar and Sandra Calderon sings. Everything fits, the sounds come and go with the ease of someone who knows what to say and how to say it. Language: flamenco.
These three artists with elegance, but without expressive limits, lead us travel through a world of rhythm, movement and beauty as spontaneous as easily appreciated by any audience.
In this show, dancing, singing and guitar come together as essential elements of the most honest and passionate flamenco, speaking on the duality between tradition and the vanguard of this art.
Isaias Salazar (Ferrol): Since he was a child, he was called to dance in the family parties, sharing the stage with artists like Duquende. His passion is flamenco and drinks from the classics of this art sources, following Farruco school.
Sandra Calderon (A Coruña): Her quest to extend her training has led her to study at the High School Music and Drama in London. In this show Sandra Calderon investigates the more orthodox songs, leaving a gap to give us great some flamencohits.
Miguel Flores (Cádiz): involved in multiple projects, brings his own vision of contemporary flamenco guitar, with solo guitar passages of his first repertoire Belyounech.
