Producer and deejay Eric Vani (a.k.a.
Rise Ashen) has devoted his life to
the study of sound. From his
formative years recording punk, folk
and hip-hop artists to his later
pursuits as a television composer,
his approach has always been
geared to the technical aspects of
aural creation, applying his hi-fidelity
know-how to underground dance
music. Eric got the looped music bug
at the tender age of 9 when he first
saw the movie Beatstreet. Vani's
music is a unique hybrid of state of
the art dance floor breaks and
sounds from around the globe.
