United Vibrations are an anomaly. The music they make shouldn’t work. Afrobeat, hip-hop, house, afrofuturism, punk, folk and jazz all make appearances on all of their songs (they call it « 12 Tone »). At times it’s almost as if they are showing off how diverse their musical loves are and how clever they are by being able to do where many others have failed, by merging genres and creating something new. But is exactly what they are doing, and this is why they are possibly one of the greatest live bands on the scene at the moment.
