One of the most important Brazilian samba-funk-jazz band. In the 1970´s it shows the world that the fusion of jazz and funky combined with samba and gafieira are essential elements to make a difference in the music scene.
In the year 2000, William Magalhaes, a well respected piano player, composer and producer, the oldest son of Oberdan Magalhaes, the founder of the band in the 70`s, got the band back in the road by releasing the album Rebirth/Movimento accompanied by new musicians; since then the band has expanded its recognition around the world and 2 albums were released by his production and leadership.
This year BBR releases a new album that pretends to tell the story of the band and highlight the different formations all along. Because of the previous tours in Europe, the band had fans amused with the band´s presentations in cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Madrid, Milan and Montpelier.
2017 the band is ready for the next step, and it is eager to launch this 40 years anniversary tour and album to make it unforgettable.
