A shared fascination for the Malian Wassoulou harp 'kamale n'goni', the djembé, traditional african tunes and rhythms is what brings the musicians of PaPa GoNi together.
In the its 3 years of its existence PaPa GoNi has managed to create a recognisable musical identity, combining West African music with inspiring soul, jazz and ambient influences.
PaPa GoNi's Guinean, Surinamese, Belgian and Dutch roots found a fertile common ground through open musical communication. It's astonishing to discover the ease with which the songs enter your head and heart, inviting you to dance and share their positive vibes and grooves.
In November 2017 PaPa GoNi's first full-length album 'In Bloom' will be released.
