Monadelisa composer guitarist singer: a multi-faceted artist from Switzerland


Monadelisa is living on beautiful La Gomera, part of the Canary Islands. Based on musical influences such as classical, flamenco, jazz, pop etc., her unique sound reflects the life on the island. She recently released a CD "Gomera, sol de mi vida" (Gomera, sunshine of my life) and plans are in the making to tour Europe. The vibrant live performances will be joined by two musicians that took part in the CD production. They are good friends and also excellent musicians: Ricardo Espinosa: cajon, udu, palmas (Madrid, Spain), Patrick Sommer: double bass (Switzerland).
Monadelisa studied classical music at the conservatory of Winterthur, Switzerland and has devoted quite some time and study to flamenco music and its culture. She finds great pleasure to connect and melt musical styles and developing therefrom her own world.
