In an effort to find a unique sound, La Shica has developed an unusual musical approach to live shows. The work is founded on the flamenco tradition, fused with copla music and even incorporating an urban sound through Hip-Hop. Not only is the music exceptional, so are the aesthetics, with the singer completing the ensemble with flamenco dancing.
The group's line-up is another of its idiosyncrasies. The acoustic trio draws from influences as diverse as Brazilian music, funk, la copla and jazz.
La Shica's work is hard to pigeonhole, but very easy to understand.They rediscover Spanish roots.
