Saxophonist, Robbie Jansen, is an all round entertainer and band leader of the Sons of Table Mountain. He was one of the original members of Abdullah Ebrahim s Mannenberg outfit. Robbie at home on a number of wind instruments and has a powerful soul voice. He combines elements of his roots in pre-colonial Africa, slave history and modern jazz/rock in his music.
