Dubbed 'The Brazilian Sade', Ive Mendes has
already made quite a mark for herself, and on every
person she meets. With her sultry Latin looks,
infectious personality and an incredible talent for
both writing and singing, itís easy to see why Ive is
already a superstar in her native Brazil, Japan
(signed to EMI), Spain and looks set to emulate that
success in the UK.
Her incredible debut album features an amazing
collection of her own songs in both English and
Spanish. Having learnt English through her song
writing, Ive is now produced by the legendary Robin
Millar (Sade, Everything But The Girl) who was
bowled over by her voice after she sang into his
answer machine! Her songs cover all aspects of her
life and reflect her Brazilian roots and Latin
passion. The album has been receiving some great
press.
Ive's songs are essentially about love and truly
reflect her Brazilian flair and Latin passion. The CD
release will tie in with the first single release of 'If
you leave me now'. Ive's charming Brazilian version
of the Chicago classic. This fantastic song has been
featured in the latest Ralph Lauren ad campaign, on
Fashion TV and on numerous compilation albums.
Ive's impact has been incredible, from the
enchanting melodies on the album to her sensual
video, she captures the imagination of everyone she
meets and will surely leave a trail of broken hearts
