Mama Matrix are an exiting five piece band based in Birmingham UK. Heavily influenced by Balkan gypsy music, they play their own blend of Zappaesque, Gypsy Punk Madness. They are fronted by the charismatic Singer/Guitarist Daz Dolczech who sounds like something between Elvis Presley and Topol. Backing him up are Dark Mavis on Tuba, Mike Hurley on drums, Annie J on Violectra and The Hedge, aka Guantanamo Bay Ray on electrical guitar. Take out your handkerchief and prepare for an emotionally charged psychedelic experience.
