A warm place to shelter, where it is safe and comfortable: that's Fado, and when Morna enters the front door, it becomes even more warm and cosy: a good house to live in and to visit. They have different roots but both are played with real tenderness.
The desire to discover the common feelings and possibilities between Fado and Morna brought Maria Alice (Cape Verde) and Célia André (Portugal) together: Almas Quentes (= Warm Souls) was born. A true marriage based upon respect and love.
