TAZENDA ARE SARDINIA'S OWN MUSIC FLAG
since when in '88 Gigi Camedda, Gino Marielli and the great voice and icon Andrea Parodi(with them until 1997)founded the first Ethnic-rock-pop Sardinian band, they could not be untoticed by the the media and the audiences worldwide. Their cooperation curriculum includes Simple Minds, Fabrizio de Andrè, Pierangelo Bertoli, Eros Ramazzotti, Mauro Pagani, Paola Turci, Inti Illimani, Maria Carta among others. They surely made Sardinian rich music and vocal tradition known all over the world. Since 2007 Beppe Dettori is the new official leading voice of Tazenda (Andrea Parodi sadly left this world in 2006). Beppe is trying to follow Andrea's path studying and working on the caracteristic vocal skills of Sardinian polyphonic vocal tradition, linking it with updated world-music
