Nzi Dada is a collaboration between
bass player Jim Parris (Carmel) and
singer, artist and
multi-instrumentalist Xumo Nounjio
from Cameroon. The music is the
result of a creative collision between
Bantu rituals, African rhythms and
contemporary musical influences.
The live performance blends the
mystical elements of Bantu tradition
with the techniques of the modern
studio in a performance that is both
fiercely percussive and hauntingly
ceremonial.
