A Journey to the Light
This music on this album is trio for tar, barbat and tombak, with a contemporary approach. Hamid Behruziniā, the bandleader of Lotus group, started tār under Hosein Behruziniā, his uncle, and continued studying music under different teachers such as Mohammad-Rezā Rahimi, Behnām Shojā’i, Mohammad-Rezā Ebrāhimi and Hushang Zarif. He also had the opportunity to learn from masters such as Arshad Tahmāsebi, Ᾱidin Oliānasab, Siāmak Banā’i and Dāruish Pirniākān.
