Created by No Fridge label, the no visa musical process Boum Ba Clash is exploring Eastern Europe borders and meets Rona Hartner, Tony Gatlif's fetish actress staring in "Gadjo Dilo", (winner of Best Music Award in 1998) and Dj ClicK, founder of the bands UHT° and Gnawa Njoum Exp, Dj-producer and engaged in favor of the musical mixing cultures.
When the idea of producing an electrogipsy album took place after meeting Rona Hartner, Dj ClicK went to Bucharest to find inspired feelings and urban sounds there : streets and subway environment, shopping markets, old vinyls...
Back to studio, the influences take shape and he build the programming mixing dark and cold winter cinematic melodies to Rona's heating voice and personality, and offering her the perfect audio part : compositions and adaptations from traditional tracks child songs inspirations, everyday life scenes simulation...
To provide the authentic background to the album, Dj ClicK records with French and gipsy musicians whose influences shape the meeting of traditional folklore with modern beats, creating a unique and original genre of sound.
