Nordic notes was founded 2005, concentrating on music from Northern Europe. The label started with a focus on Progressive Rock, Jazz, Punk and Humppa. Now it is the home for Folk, Jazz, Humppa and weird tunes from Northern Europe.
In 2008, Beste! Unterhaltung came into existence. The focus here is on Singer-Songwriter and Folk.
Finally, in 2014 CPL-Music joined Christian Pliefke´s label family.
CPL Music publishes traditional Folk, Worldmusic and Jazz
All these labels have one thing in common: They focus on releases which are really worth a listen. It is just like a date – you see, you meet, you fall in love with it. All three labels aim at persons with open ears and open hearts.
