Here is a thrilling musical experience. The name of the group and it's 2 albums, recall Italy even though this band is from Belgium.

Three buddies, renown for their personal styles and inventive playing, have reunited to offer us original compositions and some standards. They are jokers and affirm that the group is quintessentially Belgian : what with a Walloon, a Flemish and an ... Italian.

The Walloon is Pirly Zurstrassen, a sensitive and inventive pianist. For this project he concentrates on an other instrument he greatly appreciates : the accordion.
The Flemish is Kurt Bude , a talented clarinetist.
The Italian is Charles d'Inverno. He uses his guitar as witness to his roots and the micro universes he travels trough.

The magic happens very fast. We are seduced by the upbeat rhythms and the high energy.

Nino Rotas seems to be the point of reference or the host for these musicians. The compositions of Musica dal Vivo, would not be dissonant if found along side those of Fellini's closest collaborator.

It shows how the resulting CD is well executed, agreeable to the ear and seamlessly bound.

Live or recorded, Pirly, Kurt and Charles knowledge and talent are undeniable.
Their latest album "...issimo" is as pleasant as a great Italian vintage.

Now, they play in the niew formula in "quintetto", with the great sax Player Pierre Vaiana, and a fresh niew rythm section
