El Curi fullfilled his dream to record an entire CD in Cuba with Cuban musicians. “El Caballero de La Habana” is the triumph over all problems. Not being allowed to live permanently on the island, he connects his story with another gentleman of the town, not less picturesque than himself “El Caballero de Paris” to whom he had given already tribut in his previous CD “El Curi en La Habana”.
El Caballero de La Habana is a sole love song on a sweet Habanera rhythm. A big merrymaking for all the years he shared with the most humbled but sly people of the cuban capital with whom he forms part of the sentimental ambience of the Old Lady.
