Los Mangos Bajitos represents the return of the group to the studio four years later, when they published a double CD live: "Para los bailadores". With Los Mangos Bajitos the group has decided how they wanted their music to sound (like if they were on stage) and they has let us 14 songs and a half with long developments for the people who wants to enjoy the dance. The tres, percussion and trumpet are the main protagonist on the solos. From the very first note we can feel the flavour, but as the spectacle is developing the temperature goes higher until it ends on a heat explosion called montuno where all the accumulated tensions get free.
All the material in the CD is unpublished. It includes a lot of guarachas as “El culpable” or “Baña al niño, Serafín”. But also there is a retrospective of these 10 years old of the group: “Sigo p’alante”, or a bolero-son that born with a classical vocation “Recuerdos del ayer”. More than an hour not to stop enjoying.
