Oezlem Bulut stands for new and energetic mixture of oriental styles with elements of
jazz and pop music. All music is written originally for this projekt. Topics are choosen
carefully, such as childhood, relations and personal experiences.
Oezlem was born in eastern Anatolia and grew up with traditional anatolian music. She
later on continued with classic vocal studies that led her to Vienna, Austria.
With austrian composer and pianist Marco Annau, Oezlem found a genuine partner to
bring her visions of actual oriental music to live. Catchy chorus lines and vital oriental
rythms are enriched by profound improvisations.
The continious rising demand of this projekt seems to acknolegde their concept.
It is time to reframe the conventional picture of oriental music.
