A Womex pioneer, based in Ljubljana, Slovenija, mainly active in the field of Balkan and Roma music.
A world music veteran journalist and editor, esp. in the radio field (since 1978), since 2007 the musical editor of the Roma programme Amare Droma/Nase poti and since February 2011 the editor of the world music programme Etnofonija at the national Radio Slovenia 1.
The PR of the national record label ZKP RTV SLO.
A festival & project programme (co)director, concert promoter and production manager at various locations around Ljubljana (since 2010 less active, activities mainly linked to the label PR work and to the live Radio Slovenia programming), a long-time member of the programme board of the WM Ljubljana festival Druga godba(1985-2003).
One of the specialists in Balkan, esp. in Roma world-music, working with the sax & clarinet king Ferus Mustafov, also with Dzansever, Agushevi Brass Band, Pro etnos/Tanec and Kurtish Jasharov, for the last few years mainly engaged in bringing Macedonian Roma new wavers (rappers, young Roma electric & brass bands - Picikato BB) into the WM market.
Most recent project - the Skopje Shutka Roma Rap compilation I Shutka tani mo than (Shutka is My Hometown), supported and funded by FOSIM Skopje. Its live act performed also at Roskilde and Sziget festivals in 2011.
