Alain Apaloo, a graduate of The Rythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, was born in Togo, Africa and has been a musician all his life.
He is the winner of The Danish Blues Challenge 2009. Alain has played with an endless list of international musicians. He has travelled the world with his eclectic mix of all kinds of influences in his Blues music to rave reviews everywhere he has gone. Since moving to Denmark more than 10 years ago, he has been involved in a myriad of musical projects.
Alain Apaloo's project will quite possibly knock your socks off with their infectious Blues with a touch of West African influences. The drummer alongside the bassplayer of the band, have played together with Alain for more than 10 years and both Morten and Rasmus have backed Alain on his albums "Flying Vision" (Gateway Music, 2007) and "ApiPipo - Floodgate" (Stunt Records, 2009). "Floodgate" won The Danish World Music Award for Album of the year 2009.
Their highly energetic performances have secured Alain Apaloo a reputation as one to watch, and the future for this talented artist looks bright, to say the least.
