Marcin Wyrostek is an accordionist and the winner of the second edition of Poland's Got Talent. He is a lecturer at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and a member of the American Accordionists' Association.

The first accordionist in the family and Marcin's first teacher was his father. He became the owner of that instrument after Marcin's grandfather traded one of his cows for an accordion. Since that time the sound of accordion has always accompanied all family meetings. Marcin continued his music education in the primary and secondary music school in Jelenia Góra. He spent all nights practicing accordion in the garage so as not to wake up other family members. He developed his passion under the guidance of professor Joachim Pichura at the Academy of Music in Katowice, where he now works as a lecturer. He is a laureate of over 30 accordion contests (both in Poland and abroad), including Detroit (USA) in 2005, Esztergom (Hungary) in 2003, Dunajska Streda (Slovakia) in 2003, Reinach (Switzerland) in 2003. He was also awarded a scholarship by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the academic year 2004/2005. One of his most exciting music challenges was a joint performance with Bobby McFerrin in 2010.

He founded several music projects, including Marcin Wyrostek Band (formerly Corazon) as well as Marcin Wyrostek Band & Dance Show, which features the best Polish dancers - Anna Głogowska, Jan Kliment and Tomasz Barański (formerly Music & Dance Show). He has recorded four original albums: for the album "Magia del Tango" he received a Triple Platinum award and a nomination for the Fryderyki 2010 award, the album "For Alice" received with a Single Platinum award while the longplay "Coloriage" received a Double Platinum award.

Marcin has just finished his work on the latest album titled "POLACC", which features compositions inspired by Polish music. He performs classical, jazz and ethno-folk music. The key element of his musical personality is improvisation.
