Born Robert Wawero Kiboy aka Wawesh. The multi-talented, hungry, determined and enterprising Swedish-Kenyan immediately struck a chord with his initial offerings. His highly rotated late debut single, "Mjanja" was heard on street corners, dance floors, and internet connections worldwide and remains a major anthem in Kenya cementing his status in pan-Africa as an artist/producer with serious intent. Any remaining doubts on that were fully eradicated upon release of his highly acclaimed album "It's meant to be".

Wawesh is an artist, songwriter, producer and talent developer heavily exhaling a breath of freshness into the international urban genre whilst truly representing his country Kenya. Despite being an unfamiliar name to some his production credits go way back and he is already a renowned name in production circles throughout Scandinavia and other parts of Europe. Under his alter-alias, Kiboy, he was involved in many projects as a producer including work for the likes of international names like Talib Kweli, Samantha Mumba, Floetry, JAQEE and many more.

Currently Wawesh is the director and head music producer of the Kenyan based indie label Penya Africa. In 2008 and within 4 months Wawesh produced 2 albums for Penya, (Stan - Kenya Debut, Sauti Sol - Mwanzo). The debut albums are meant to introduce talent that can take Kenyan music to a new level and raise the bar regarding quality, image & innovation. In 2009 Wawesh is producing the albums for Dela, Chantman and Muthoni (Drummer Queen).
