Phønix is one of the leading and most experienced Danish folk bands.
The quite unique sound universe has taken them all over the world, both to big folk music festivals and intimate club stages.
Phønix bring new life to the Danish music tradition, and when they enter the stage, they do it with such intensity and musicality that it is a pleasure to witness – for both ears and eyes.
Phønix build their music on Danish/Nordic roots with the singing tradition in focus. The result is contemporary folk music relating both backwards and forwards in time.
