A special session for new delegates, aimed at helping you to use all the opportunities available at Classical:NEXT to their full potential.
Classical:NEXT Director Jennifer Dautermann, Classical:NEXT General Manager Fabienne Krause and Piranha's Director of Communications, Paul Bräuer, will be offering advice on how to network (the 'before, during and after' phases), how to utilise the Trade Fair and the Conference depending on your roles within them. Plus we’ll give tips on submitting Conference and Showcase proposals to maximize your chances of making it through the jury process. Media types will receive useful how-tos as well.

Biographies
Paul Bräuer:
Paul Brauer studied musicology, sinology and journalism in Berlin and Shanghai. Working for the House of World Cultures in Berlin and as a music journalist for radio and print, he specialised in classical and global music traditions. Paul has been with Piranha Arts since 2009 and in 2014 took over the position of director of communications.
Jennifer Dautermann:
Jennifer majored in classical music performance at Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan. After her 7 years at the British Council’s Arts Department in Berlin, she joined Piranha Arts, initiating and realising the C3 Festival (Club Contemporary Classical). Jennifer has been the Director of Classical:NEXT since its inception in 2011.
Fabienne Krause:
Fabienne Krause is general manager of Classical:NEXT. Since the beginning of this project in 2011, she has played a decisive role in setting up and developing this networking event. She joined Piranha Arts in 2009 to work as project coordinator and musicologist on research projects. She studied musicology, philosophy and sociology in Munster and Berlin, Germany.
