Music is our common language in life. Music is for everyone. But what if we can make music more personal? What if we can mark special moments in life with personal musical milestones? The Donemus Foundation and the Dutch Composers Association launch Compose4You.nl, a platform where you can find a composer to write you a personal composition. To celebrate birth, anniversary, marriage, or a business jubilee; to be performed by either professional or amateur musicians; composers can write for you personally.
Not only a painting or sculpture, a poster or postcard, but also newly composed music can be your gift. Your own Für Elise for the year 2016, as a personal gift that will be remembered for years to come. We will share our experiences and invite you to share ideas on private commissions for special occasions that connect audiences with today’s music.
