Women are taking charge of the arts industry by empowering themselves and other women in the field. Deconstructing the existing industry models that are driven largely by men, however, has been met with challenges, but many women have taken a DIY approach to leveling the playing field. When women are at the centre, they are able to initiate shifts to the status quo, activating then leveraging their dynamic powers to become power plays. Hear what these dynamic women are doing as arts managers and artists to create a more equitable field.
