The first WOMEX in Eastern Europe provides a great opportunity to boost networking within the region. With an eye on how sectors of the industry connect on a regional level around the world, we’ll be looking at the question of the relevant need for Eastern Europeans to establish their own networking connections. What forms could they take? What form could be relevant and sustainable? Should there be a formal network? How does the political situation affect these countries networking? All networking fans and professionals are invited to take part and answer these questions in a moderated discussion. We’ll give feedback to participants on the first Eastern European umbrella organisation: Central European Music Square.
