The GCMN worldwide collective returns after a successful debut. The network consists of professionals committed to presenting forms of digital roots music, drawing from the many sounds of the world. Network members include DJs, bands, labels, booking agents, presenters and journalists.
At WOMEX 2013 in Cardiff, the GCMN received raving reactions to their collective stand and silent disco. Besides a quick intro and update - on activities such as remix projects, radio show, attending APAP, SXSW and Primavera Pro - we'll continue connecting and building.
Together we'll discuss ways to build a sustainable touring circuit and alternatives to the existing 'industry', collaborate musically, gain more visibility and optimize our combined networks. We invite delegates to join us to gain a better understanding of this music and the tools to venture further.
