The music industry in the UK is more open to business than ever and there hasn't been a greater time or desire by UK partners to collaborate internationally. The Horizons at WOMEX partnership represents a world of music from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

But what about Brexit? The democratic vote to leave the EU has sent shockwaves through a predominantly European/ international sector and has repercussions for the music industry globally.

Does Brexit mean Brexit for music too or does music transcend borders? What are the direct consequences on the music industry? Is it time to retreat or to rethink? Will Scotland remain? What's comes next for the UK, the EU and the music industry?
