We will explore different approaches to programming for the very youngest audience members and how this might impact on the way that we plan our seasons overall, the skills musicians are developing and our financial models.
Biographies
Abigail Pogson:
Combining a commitment to artists with a passion for ensuring that the arts can be accessed by as many people as possible, Abigail has been Chief Executive of Spitalfields Music, a charity with an international reputation for its quality, reach and innovation. She is Managing Director Designate for Sage Gateshead.
Andrea Apostopli:
Andrea Apostoli is president of AIGAM (Italian Gordon Association for Music Learning), professor of Padova Conservatory, and advisor in Concert Pedagogy for Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (Germany). He has collaborated with S. Cecilia National Academy, I Musici, Berliner Philharmoniker and has co-published several books.
Martina Taubenberger:
Martina Taubenberger studied literature and musicology and holds a PhD in American studies.She works for various institutions all over Europe. Her main fields of operation include concept development, project management, consulting and conference moderation in the areas of music education and art in general.
